From the World Peace Council:
Resistance against the occupation is legitimate, killing the patriots is murder.
The Three Iraqi Women of Resistance Sentenced to Death Should Be Released Immediately

WPC, March 05, 2007

Wassan Talib, Zaynab Fadil and Liqa Umar Muhammad have been sentenced to death in a country under foreign occupation, by an unjust trial. They have been accused of killing USA soldiers and staff of the collaborator government. They have been accused of taking part in the resistance in a country under foreign occupation. They have been sentenced to death by a puppet court without being allowed to appoint lawyers and without being able to appeal or ask for a dismissal of the charges. These three women who refused to accept the occupation of their own country will be executed by the occupiers and their collaborators in 3rd of March.

The occupiers in Iraq who each day kill Iraqians, women and children, the puppet government in Iraq and their puppet courts attempt to add a new one to their crimes. USA who carries on one of the most unfair and bloody wars the world has ever witnessed and its collaborator government in Iraq are now trying to threaten the resistance and the people of Iraq by using the executions. USA and its collaborators are getting prepared to commit a murder in 3rd of March before the whole world. The execution of Wasan, Zeynab and Liqa is an attempt to threat all who resist against imperialism.

The choice of execution date as 3rd of March prove that imperialism wants to send a message to the peoples who resist and particularly to the women who struggle since the coming days are 8 of March which is the day of struggle of the women workers and 20 of March is the 4th anniversary of the Occupation of Iraq by USA.

The Peace Association declares its support to these three women resisting against the aggressiveness of imperialism. The sentence of death which means a new crime of murder of USA in Iraq must be immediately withdrawn by the collaborator government in Iraq. Wassan Talib, Zaynab Fadil and Liqa Umar Muhammad should be immediately released.
