12 IMCWP Intervention by CP of Pakistan Communist Party of Pakistan December 8, 2010 www.cppak.org, cppak2003@yahoo.com  The text of the speech of comrade Imdad Qazi, delegate of the Communist Party of Pakistan for the 12th international meeting of the communist and workers Parties at Johannesburg, South Africa. Dear Comrades of the presidium and delegates of the fraternal parties.!!! The previous half centennial has given birth to diverse exploitative forms of the capitalist system, among which corporate capitalism, crony capitalism and market economy are worth to be mentioned here. The system of capitalism is an other name of shear exploitation, corruption and war economy, which is in toto gone bankrupted and globalization has sustained so far, artificially, its body walls from falling apart. The Chinese state capital is striving to keep it survive for its own benefits, in the prevailing milieu. We do believe that, in the prevailing market economy, those nations can’t survive, whose productivity is meant only for meeting its essential necessities. And like wise its too hard for those to sustain, who produce merely for barter. Those nations, focused on growth of their strength and produce for earning more benefits, can do survive diligently. This is the reason behind the fact every one is now out for shopping in the prevailing conditions of free trade and market economy and has abandoned virtually its own productivity. Sanctioning gambling, rampant loans, leases, and interests has its own indebted America for over 14 billions US dollars of money , but despite all this, it is still the world’s wealthiest country in the indices of human and natural resources. So the question arises, how then, its economic system, did smash to the ground ? Dear Comrades! While viewing the collapsing of the US economics system and taking into mind the examples of Enron, it is obviously proved, that accounts and audit system is in fact, nothing, but an imbroglio of digit game in gambling and casino system. The romance of credit card system enticed the customer to shop for the future and hence forth, he is now pulled to pay at present for days to come. Inflation, increase in prices and devaluation of the currency is an important component of the play of capitalism. Anti people measures on the name of globalization, free trade, liberalization and privatization are badly failed tactics and exposed. The capitalists are thriving for transforming citizenry of the world into robots through the force of its controlled media system. Under the emblem of postmodernism philosophy, through obsessive film and literature, people are drawn away from objective and rational thinking, the syllabus taught in educational institutes is again meant to keep the students des-chanted with objective thinking. In the present milieu, when money was identified the sole purpose, so then its own separate market was created. Stock markets got involved into gambling and the central banks around the world kicked off to print away more and more currency notes, flunging the world into such a crises when we see around us every where credits upon credits. There fore the system of debts and interests, did mortgage the whole world into the fists of very few and here is the root cause of all evils lay. On the other side as during the Vietnam and the first and second world wars , the war economy earned trillions of dollars over the corpuses of the world’s innocent citizenry and dolled the money towards imperialist US America. Now the multi national companies are out to bashfully occupy, on pretext of facilitating free trade, eliminating the divine authority of the state, its sovereignty and geographical borders. The monetary institutions have mortgaged the sovereignty of the third world countries for debts and loans. The G-8 countries of which master is USA, in shear greed for oil, minerals and other natural resources on one or other pretext to plunder the natural coffers of the 3rdworld countries have raised piles of human corpuses in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. At present, since the volume of money for trading against the industrial capital volume on world level is greater. Hence forth for benefit, the product capital for trading and interests, the trade of monetary debts, loans and gambling has many fold produced boasted artificial capital. Dear Comrades! Due to the surplus quantity of hard capital against the product capital, the raw material producing countries are subjected to crush between the two churning wheels of industrial capital and economic capital. These institutions exploit the workers worse than slaves in countries like Pakistan. In countries like Pakistan, the corporate farming, has pushed small peasants and skilled workers towards filthy polluted urban centers. Life is gasping in rural areas and crimes are growing fast in the muddy residential quarters of the cities . The capitalist system has transformed the poverty stricken masses of the world into such a miserable servitude, which is far worse than the savage slavery of the days gone long before. Dear Comrades! The prevailing capitalist system is nowhere can not deliver any thing good, instead of savagery, exploitation and crises upon crises to the human being. This system of savagery has brought on verge of nuclear and climate change jeopardy, the whole globe at large, where the true face of savagery of this system is exposed, there it fingers out, sensing, the absence of its own world economic and monetary market for the socialism. Socialism did pioneer a very correct system, free from every exploitation, but building a market of the socialist nature at world level is still to be discovered. It was imperative for the socialist countries to advance, building a common market of their own and there off concentrate over working for eliminating the disparity of world capital, and thence, they could have been very instrumental to facilitate creating means for productive capital among the poor and non aliened countries, and could have there and then sowed, develop basic capital markets and this way the hegemony of monetary capital over the industrial capital could have been dismantled and similarly, conditions for the emancipation of 3rd world countries from the clutches of world monopolies could have been realized. Today, keeping in mind these points, on the road of socialism, accordant to the prevailing conditions, its objective features aught to be objectively highlighted. SOCIALISM IS A SITUATIONAL SCIENCE! !!. Dear Comrades! The world’s objective condition has proved time and again that, the scientific and economic evolution of capital has arrived over a point, which devoid of socialism, the creation of capital can not do justice at all any longer. And this is also proved that, where there reigns the capital barons, there, no way a society based on democratic norms can not be established and thence democracy appears to be an obsession for the common lot where, we know imperialist do enjoy the status of god father for all the monopolists of the world at large. The importance of money over a man is a sign of reaching the world at the brim of last devastation. There fore for us Communists, its our obligation to come forward and save this planet earth from catastrophe and turn it into a bosom of tranquility , prosperity, and socialism , which is no way possible, other than political, social and economic revolution. Dear Comrades! Today, all over the world at large, general masses and the working class are out in the streets, dismayed, agitating against this defunct system. Movements against warfare are getting strengths every where and movements of the trade unions are converging upon seismic strikes and demonstrations. The working class of the developed countries of Europe, particularly in Greece and France are frenzy, agitating against the government’s austerity measures of cuts in the salaries, inflations, employments and downsizing of social securities. The thesis “END OF HISTORY” of the capital system is badly refuted. Their all maneuvers of theory of collusion between civilizations and war on terror are bashfully exposed in the public eyes. So, now religious narrow mindedness and ethnic strifes are encouraged and organized, in order to divert the public attention towards non issues in different parts of the world. Dear Comrades! In our country Pakistan, on the name of religious mandate, the fighting forces, are shear obscurantist and historically as a force of medievalism, has been barbarically striking, devastating the polity since very long. The so called Taliban and Islamic jehadists forces have been bombing and turned into ashes and mere piles of rocks, thousands of schools, hospitals, and other creative institutions. Women are forced to lead inhuman medieval manner of servitude and only then be allowed to live, hundreds of left wing workers, liberal free thinking individuals are assassinated through horrifying brutality on daily basis. Even, Islamic scholars of comparative enlightened standing, who defied their version of harsh medieval Islam, have been also targeted and similarly eliminated. No other denominations is spared from their wrath, except only one religious Islamic section “known Deobandi” (an obscurantist school of thought, the name derived from an Islamic seminary long been earlier established during colonial times in India at Deoband) . At this occasion, we consider it necessary to tell you here, that Communist Party of Pakistan has been bearing the greatest of all devastating brunt of this wrath, dozens of its cadres members are subjected to heinous murders and horrifying persecutions. A member of our central committee, comrade Dr shafiq, did very narrowly survived lethal attempts on his life for several times and with this, we express our very profoundly gratitude to the Communist Party of Greece, for its indeed very great in time help, saving his life at this hour of hell bent adversaries, we are forced to confront. We also hope, that the Greek comrades will keep on this historical fraternal obligation in the future, also. The family of comrade shafiq is still under continued sever threats, but we would never ever surrender and fall apart, discouraged. In this vie among the multi-polar players, at loggerheads on the soil of Pakistan, we would not spare any effort, in order to save the lives of our people and would continue our fight, till achieve emancipation from imperialism. Dear Comrades! In the above described prevailing situation, we need to assemble and re-organize the widely dispersed and disjointed movements acting in different parts of the world and if we could conjoin these movements together, we can hope for striking a defeating blow to the system of capitalism, because, the eternity of human being belongs to socialism and with out communism, there can prevail only barbarism.
