The imperialist powers, USA and France,  have decided to impose their puppet Alassane Ouattara, formerly Assistant General Manager of IMF, as President of Ivory Coast. They do not hesitate to push the country on the way of civil war to maintain it by force under their control.

The well prowled international mediatic machine for propaganda and lie has been put into action to make believe, without any incontestable proof, that their favorite candidate won the last presidential elections. The imperialist powers are leaning on the results  faked by a so-called Independent Electoral Commission which is as a matter of fact composed in its overwhelming majority with representatives of political forces supporting Alassane Ouattara. They want to get rid of Gbabgbo who is becoming dangerous with his attempts to utilize  their inter-imperialist contradictions.

Throughout its support to Ouattara and  getting beyond its mandate in Ivory Coast, UN openly shows once more, that, since the end of the socialist camp, it became an instrument of reshuffling the world into influence and imperialist domination zones.

EU displays once again its nature of imperialist block which agrees, in spite of their contradictions, with the American imperialism, when it urges to work together for crushing any attempt to fight against the  brigandage organized by the worldwide imperialist order.

IMF and WB, for their part, decide to recognize only the so-called democratically elected president. This argument is of a boundless  hypocrisy when one remembers that IMF had released without any hesitation more than a billion dollars in favor of the military junta in Honduras which was openly  at the beck and call of USA, a few weeks after the overthrow of President Zelaya, democratically elected  and eager to emancipate his country from the military and political USA trusteeship.

The summit of the outbidding in hypocrisy must go to the president of the International Penal Court who threatens noisily to take action against Laurent Gbagbo for “crimes against humanity”. The peoples have not heard him towards Israeli leaders during the big massacres of December 2008 in Gaza, or towards American leaders for hundreds of thousands Iraqi killed during their occupation of Iraq, or towards the Colombian leaders responsible for the assassination of thousands of progressive personalities.

In this chorus of yells, threats, orders and pressures to make Ivory Coast back to the ranks, the president of the former colonizing  country has taken up again the old colonialist mentality by calling on Gbagbo to leave the power “before the end of the week”!.

These scandalous interferences in the internal affairs of a sovereign State show that the purpose of installing Ouattara is a part of a scenario carefully  elaborated. The so-called Independent Electoral Commission has only been one piece used to hide with a fake legality the choice of the big imperialist powers even before the elections. Moreover, the regions where Ouattara pretends to have got the best scores are given up to the intimidations and to arbitrariness of the “New Forces” supported by French imperialism. Whatever one's opinion can be about Gbagbo maneuvers and purposes during more than twenty years, what is appearing is that more and more peoples in Africa do not tolerate any more the neocolonial bonds based on dependence,  economical backwardness, and poverty. They no longer accept neither the open dictatures, nor those who hide themselves behind a so-called democracy – so dear to social democracy – and implemented by the compradore bourgeoisies and the imperialism to perpetuate the plundering of their riches and the outcome of their work.

The confrontation which  mobilize  a big part of the Ivory Coast people against imperialism underline the crucial problem of the solidarity with the forces which fight for real independence of their country and which want to put an end to  exploitation  and plundering ruling their  relations for decades.

Obviously, in this fight to the recovery of their natural riches by the African peoples and their use  as means of development and of progress, the anti-imperialists are on the side of the forces which want to break the chains of dependence. The question of who really won  the elections become  a minor one when we know that the supporters of the perpetuation of domination relations benefit of a big financial and mediatic assistance from the imperialist bourgeoisie which allow them to buy votes, to influence the  choice of the electors, to provoke the disunion of workers classes and layers, to falsify elections results, to spread lies to support their manœuvres in order to keep away those who disturb them and install submissive leaders. The elections results are not an absolute criteria  to define the position of the anti-imperialist forces in Africa and in the world, especially when big masses are mobilized in the country to move beyond neocolonialism whatever could ce the calculations and the political limits of the leaders who refuse the imperialists brutality.

In any case, it is  the Ivory Coast people sovereign decision concerning its future. There is neither need of foreign imperialist forces intervention to select democratically its leaders , nor of their so-called observers to “make valid” the elections results.

Never and nowhere imperialism has intervened  to bring freedom and democracy. In every place where it plots and sends its troops, it brings only civil war, ruins and misfortune. Its only aim is to install autotchthonous puppets at the service of the big financial bourgeoisie interests.

It devolves upon the peoples, their progressive and anti-imperialist forces, to decide about they manage their struggles to establish, without any foreign interference, a democratic regime devoted to their legitimate interests. The peoples must demand the departure of the  French troops and those of UN which has proven its partiality in supporting  Ouattara, lackey of the colonialism et man from the IMF the injunctions of which have plunged Ivory Coast into a severe economical and social backward movement.

The Algerian communists denounce the silence of the Algerian government and of the “islamo-nationalist” presidential coalition which refuse to condemn the foreign interferences in the internal affairs of the Ivory Coast people or to prevent the  utilization of the African Union by the African leaders at the beck and call of neocolonialism. They denounce the diffusion of the pro imperialist propaganda by Algerian television, the  governmental press and by the private press which, almost unanimously,  repeats over zealously the lies developed by the supporters of the Françafrique in order to discredit the Ivory Coast patriots and vindicates the foreign powers thugs. They denounce the silence of the traditional parties in front of this neocolonial unprecedented attack to terrorize the peoples and impose submissive leaders to them.

The Republican National Alliance (ANR) keeps silent. The Citizen Collectif for the Defense of the Republic is also silent. His  spokesman had met two years ago the US ambassador to explain to him as he says the meaning of his organization fight against the power and to obtain the support of this imperialist power.

The Front of Socialist Forces, a member of the Socialist Internationale a famous member   oh which – Dominique Strauss-Kahn, General Manager of the IMF- tries to strangle Ivory Coast, face the struggle for a change of regime only with the support of the big imperialist powers and not with an action towards the popular masses on the basis of a democratic and progressive anti imperialist alternative.

The leaders of the Movement for Kabylia autonomy cannot keep silent if they do not want to lose the support of the  French neocolonialists determined to provoke a situation of fragmentation of Algeria which would allow them some day to control the oil-bearing regions.

Completely isolated from their people, the RCD leaders see themselves governing Algeria with the support and the benediction of the American and French imperialist leaders , as it has been unveiled in some cables  from Wikileaks which have not been denied. Their political international visit card is written with an ink full of hate against the principal patriotic leaders of the 70's when Algeria nationalized the riches monopolized by the French societies to develop itself and was standing on the side of the peoples fighting for their national freedom.

The Algerian communists hope that the progressive people of Ivory Coast will find the  power to unite in front of the imperialist Holy Alliance, will be able to  avoid the traps of tribal divisions that the colonialism has always used with a great competence to ensure its domination, will be firm while encouraging  the popular masses mobilization and leaning on them to resist to the external pressures.

They call for the development of the solidarity of all the anti-imperialist and progressive forces in Algeria, in Africa, in France and everywhere in the world with the Ivory Coast people struggle for his plain independence and a democracy which serves its fundamental interests.

They are convinced that this solidarity will help the establishment o f authentic bonds of cooperation, cleared of any neocolonial temptations, between the African peoples and the French workers, suffering together in front of the same domination exerted in France like in Africa, by the arrogant oligarchy of the big financial exploiter groups, like those of Bolloré, Bouygues, Areva, etc.
